Another quiet day for the stable with no runners but the racing action comes from Market Rasen and Taunton both with jumps cards. The all-weather action comes from Wolverhampton with an evening card. There is no racing in Ireland.

The Taunton card looks full of action tomorrow and the Hunter Chase is looking very competitive as I think it could possibly be the last race to qualify for Cheltenham - but don't quote me on that! Olive Nicholls trains Didero Vallis in the race but has chosen last time out winner Shearer for dad, Paul Nicholls to take the ride on as she bids to follow up the 37-length victory last time out. Two of Pond Houses’ lads take a spin, as Martin McIntyre and Rian Corcoan are both set to take their chances in the race.

Over on the flat, Group 1 winning trainer Rae Guest will seek his last chance at a winner at Wolverhampton with Inlet who runs in the 6:00pm Handicap. The trainer announced his retirement in December after selling his yard to fellow trainer Jack Jones, so he will be hoping to go out with a winner!

There was a further update on Sir Gino yesterday who is currently at Donnington Grove vets in Newbury and is currently battling a 'superbug' which is very rare and can become dangerous, but at the moment the Seven Barrows star is stable and not experiencing any discomfort which is a positive sign and hopefully he can make a full recovery.

Last night in the football, there was a Championship game between Leeds United and Sunderland which ended in Leeds taking victory with the result of 2-1. This victory means they will now return to the top of the championship.

I went to an aquarium at the weekend, but I didn't stay long - there's something fishy about that place!

Have a great Tuesday!
