Walkadina runs at Kelso Today
It looks to be the start of a busy weekend for racing with some valuable races being shown. The jumps cards are coming from Newbury, Kelso and Bangor-On-Dee, there is evening all-weather action coming from Newcastle and Wolverhampton. In Ireland, there is Jumps action this afternoon at Navan.
Another day of runners coming from opposite ends of the map with Walkadina running at Kelso in the 3:00pm Mares’ Novices’ Handicap Hurdle final over 2miles with Jack Tudor riding. She returned to form last time out following wind surgery and ran well to be a close second at Ludlow. She is in good form at home and hopefully, she can collect as much of the prize money on offer that she can.
Neon Moon runs at Newbury for their final jumps meeting of the season in the 5:35pm Handicap Chase over 2miles 7½f with Ben Bromley riding. He ran well back in December to finish a respectable second, he is in good form at home and he goes well fresh, we know the track suits him fine and he will like the ground so fingers crossed!
Yesterday, Belfrina ran well and was unlucky to miss out getting her head in front again; she kept galloping all the way to the line and was not beaten far. Gold In The Rivers ran much better this time around from his previous start and I think the better ground suited him this time. Pachacuti was travelling and jumping well to start with but just couldn’t quite back up his good performance last time, back to the drawing board.
In the rugby the Women’s Six Nations takes place with Ireland vs. France at 1pm and Scotland vs. Wales at 4:45pm.
Mountains aren't just funny. They're hill areas.
Have a great weekend!
