        Sidi Ismael runs Pointing Today

Again, the flat dominates the action today with meetings coming from Newmarket, Hamilton and Salisbury. No all-weather action or jumps action today, but in Ireland they are racing on the flat at Sligo.

Over at Newmarket, it’s the fillies who take centre stage with the 1,000 Guineas at 3:35pm and some well fancied contenders come from two of the sport’s biggest powerhouses go head to head. Desert Flower runs for the Goldophin team and Lake Victoria, a three-time Group 1 winner runs for Aidan O’Brien and Coolmore.

We are likely to have two runners at South Hill point to point today which is not too far from home.  Sidi Ismael holds entries in two conditions races and will run in one, while Royal Defender will run in the Restricted with Rian Corcoran on board.  We will let you know how they got on tomorrow!

In the football this afternoon, Brentford vs. Man Utd, Brighton vs. Newcastle and West Ham vs. Tottenham all kick off at 2pm in the Premier League action, with Chelsea vs. Liverpool being the later match at 4:30pm.
