A quiet and wet start for a Tuesday in the racing department with the jumps card coming from Southwell and the rest of action on the flat, which comes from Leicester, Lingfield and all-weather action this evening at Wolverhampton. No racing in Ireland today and no runners for the stable.
There could be a number of upcoming juveniles to follow from Lingfield in the 6f Novice, which takes place at 7:15pm. Some notable runners are the 150,000 guineas purchase Balthamos for the Simon and Ed Crisford team, alongside the 210,000 guineas buy Shaatir for Archie Watson.
Yesterday at Market Rasen saw four last time out winners go head to head and it was Letterson Lady for the Bowen team, who came out on top. She was given a good ride from Champion Jockey Sean Bowen and is now set to be retired as she suffered an injury after the race. The mare is now set for breeding with the family hoping to train one of her babies one day.
The UEFA Women's Nations League is set to take place tonight and England are up against Spain with kick off due at 6:00pm. England were victorious last time the two teams met back in February.
How does a penguin build it's house?
Igloos it together!
Have a great Tuesday!
