Lots of Racing Action

Another week has flown by and we are set to have a busy day full of racing coverage to keep you busy! The jumps fixtures come from Hexham and Uttoxeter who both have evening cards. While the flat action comes from York, Sandown, Chester, Bath all this afternoon and Leicester this evening. No all-weather action but over in Ireland, they are back jumping at Downpatrick. No runners for the stable today.

Last night we were at Newton Abbot with Hammer Dan who was making his seasonal reappearance. It was good to have him back on the track and he ran well to finish second not beaten far and will certainly improve from the outing next time.

Confirmations for the two Group 1 races at Ascot next Friday, which conclude of the Commonwealth Cup and the Coronation Stakes, will be published today at midday, alongside the entries for the rest of the day-four card.

For the main flat action today, it is the Listed Scurry Stakes at Sandown, which takes place at 2:40pm, and the Listed Grand Cup at York which takes place straight after at 3:00pm.

I tried to sue the airport for misplacing my luggage…
