Flat Tuesday

                 Bashful Boy runs today
The jump racing comes close to home today at Newton Abbot, which is the sole jumping card of the day in Britain. The rest of action is made up on the flat, which comes from Beverley, Brighton and Newbury. No racing in Ireland today. 

We head to Newbury tonight with two runners on the flat, Ocean Heights runs in the 5:40pm Apprentice Handicap over 1mile 3f with Jack Dace riding. He was slightly disappointing last time out and didn't come out the stalls as well as he normally does. The ground was probably slightly on the softer side for him that day so a return to a quicker surface will hopefully help him. 

We also have Bashful Boy running in the 7:15pm Handicap over 2miles with again Jack Dace in the saddle. He has been successful over both codes and ran well in the Chester Cup and hopefully today he can continue to show some of that ability. 

Last night in the football it was the continued matches from the FIFA Club World Cup and Manchester City thrashed their opponents, Al Ain with a 6-0 victory. PSG were also in play and went victorious in their game 2-0. The action continues tonight with two matches at 8:00pm.
