We are back with a busy Saturday for the racing front, with jumps cards coming from Market Rasen and Cartmel this afternoon. The flat is busy today with meetings at Newbury and Ripon this afternoon, with the evening action concluding at Newmarket, Doncaster and Haydock. In Ireland, its flat action only which comes from the Curragh. No runners for the stable today.

There is classic action to savour on another busy Saturday, with the Juddmonte Irish Oaks, which takes place at 3:40pm at the Curragh. The Epsom winner Minnie Hauk is on course to complete the Oaks double, which was last completed by snowfall four years ago.

Over in Britain, the highlight action comes from Newbury with the Weatherbys Super Sprint at 3:35pm, the race will feature a bumper field of juveniles who cost less than £65,000 and their weight is determined by their price tag.

For the jumping action, the valuable Summer Plate takes place at Market Rasen at 3:12pm and Harry Cobden will be sure to continue his good running’s of the race having won the last two. He is set to ride Ballysax Hank for Gavin Cromwell.

In the football, the Women’s Euro action continues with the quarterfinals and tonight is France vs. Germany who kick off at 8pm.
