Easy For Kazlian

Kazlian was impressive when winning as he pleased at Leicester yesterday afternoon.  It is difficult to get a handle on the value of the form as there were plenty of very good ex-flat horses in the line-up who are yet to really show the same level of form over timber.  Even so, he could do no more than win comfortably - he certainly handles the testing going well although I don't see any reason why he shouldn't handle better ground.  The thing that impressed me was that his jumping has become more fluent with each race and he might well have to step up in grade now.

Kazlian follows-up his facile Ffos Las success with an easy win at Leicester on Tuesday

The stable has three runners this afternoon - Shotavodka, a winner over in Ireland makes his Pond House debut in the concluding Doncaster bumper under Conor O'Farrell while Tom Scudamore takes the mount aboard Laflammedeglorie and Midnight Tuesday at Ffos Las.  We look to have three interesting contenders this afternoon.

I'm looking forward to another big night of football action this evening as Manchester City take on Liverpool.  It is always difficult to bet on these Carling Cup matches until you see the team the managers are going to put out.  There is also Premiership action with Tottenham Hotspur taking on Everton - if Spurs can get a victory they will be on the same numbe of points as Manchester United - they won't be able to stop Harry talking!

I have been watching the BDO World Darts Championships, but I am afraid that I can not get as excited as watching the proper World Championships featuring the likes of Phil "The Power" Taylor.  There certainly aren't as many characters in the BDO - and they don't look like they are anything like as good at darts!...does anyone else agree?

Talking of supreme athletes like the arrowsmiths, I saw an 18 year old girl pull a truck yesterday.  I was of course expecting to see that she was almost the size of the truck, but instead Bronwyn Taylor looked more like a page 3 girl!  I bet her boyfriend doesn't like upsetting her!
