The stable has three runners this afternoon at Towcester, Bygones Sovereign, Top Wood and Chartreux and we look to have some decent chances. Bygones Sovereign produced a decent first effort for the stable when runner-up to a promising type at Leicester on his hurdling debut, while Top Wood has his first run for us today after racking up three successes in French bumpers. High class hurdler Chartreux looks interesting as he bids to atone for an unlucky fall on his chasing debut at Hereford. Tom Scudamore takes the ride aboard all three.

There are now only 51 days to go until the Cheltenham Festival is upon us once again, but who's counting?! Once again we will have our marquee for owners and friends and I dare say that we will have the likes of Matt Chapman drop in to upset a few people and give us his views (whether we want them or not!). The thing with Matt is that he doesn't need a microphone - I am sure all the other marquee's in the village can hear him as well! I am really looking forward to the Cheltenham Festival this year and I'm hoping that the stable will have some live chances.

What a great day if you are a football fan! At 1.30pm we have Manchester City versus Tottenham Hotspur - that should be entertaining as both teams are attack oriented and their defences have been prone to letting in the odd goal of late. Then at 4pm there is Arsenal versus Manchester United and I am just wondering now what Arsene Wenger will find to moan about?! The Arsenal defence is looking very shaky and Wenger has made the decision not to buy anymore players - it should certainly be an interesting afternoon!
