There are seven meetings taking place this afternoon with flat cards from York, Goodwood, Newmarket, Chester, Windsor and Redcar while there is also a jumps fixture from Cartmel.  Stable jockey Tom Scudamore has picked up a couple of outside rides at Cartmel and a word of warning - if you are thinking of going racing there, do give yourself plenty of time as the roads around the track get extremely congested, especially during this bank holiday weekend.

There are six meetings taking place this afternoon and they are all on the flat with the action coming from York, Newmarket, Ffos Las, Hamilton, Salisbury and Goodwood.  The big race of the day is the Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes from York at 3.35pm.  It should be over in a flash with the dual Royal Ascot winning American filly Lady Aurelia favourite at 11/8, although the home nation are strongly represented with Battaash looking a genuine threat.

There are five meetings taking place this afternoon with flat cards from York, Chepstow and Hamilton, while there are jumps fixtures from Stratford and Fontwell.  There are no runners from the stable today although Tom Scudamore, David Noonan and Michael Heard have all picked up mounts at Fontwell.  It is going to be a long day for Scu - he has just one ride and it is not until the last race at 7.50pm, hopefully he will make it count.

There are five meetings taking place this afternoon with flat cards from York, Carlisle, Bath and Kempton as well as a jumps card from Worcester.  What a great card they have at York for the start of their Ebor meeting, hardly surprising when you consider that there is over £1 million prize money up for grabs with the Juddmonte International featuring another clash between Barney Roy, Churchill and Ulysees, while the Great Voltigeur isn't bad either with English and Irish Derby placed Cracksman looking a worthy favourite.  Meanwhile, David has two runners at Worcester tonight with Gabrial The Great (pictured above) and Juste Pour Nous representing the yard.

There are four meetings taking place this afternoon with flat action from Kempton, Brighton and Yarmouth as well as a jumps fixture from Newton Abbot.  Once again, Newton Abbot show the flat tracks how to do it by offering the most prize money today - another good effort from the Devon track.  David has one runner this evening as Lady Of Longstone (pictured above) contests the 3m2f handicap hurdle at 8.00pm.  She is undoubtedly on a good mark of 112 having won from 123 in the past, although she needs to improve on recent form.  Regular rider Michael Heard is in the saddle and claims a handy 5lbs off her back.

There are four meetings taking place this afternoon with flat cards from Thirsk, Lingfield and Windsor while there is a jumps card from Hexham.  The big race of the day is the final of the sprint series with a shade under £47,000 to the winner and it has attracted a good sixteen runner field.  It just goes to show that if you put good prize money up for grabs you will get a good line-up...common sense really!

There are just two meetings taking place this afternoon - a flat card from Pontefract and a jumps card from Southwell.  David runs Kalifourchon in the 3.40pm race at Southwell.  It is a three mile handicap hurdle and it looks a competitive contest with our six year old at the foot of the weights on 10-5.  He ran well on his seasonal reappearance at Market Rasen when second from this mark, form which would give him fair claims.  Stable jockey Tom Scudamore is in the saddle and it is a shame that there are not more than six runners as I think he would have had each way claims.  Meanwhile the flat card at the Curragh looks like a cracker with three Group races taking place - Ryan Moore looks to have a strong hand in each and Happily should win the fillies' Group 2 at 3.20pm.
