There are four flat meetings in Britain today at Catterick, Salisbury, Doncaster and Leicester. In Ireland they have a meeting under each code, they race on the flat at Naas and over jumps at Wexford. The stable does not have any runners today.

There are three flat meetings today at Musselburgh, Lingfield and Wolverhampton. In Ireland there is one jumps meeting at Ballinrobe. The stable does not have any runners. It will be an emotional day at Wolverhampton tonight as commentator Derek Thompson, aka Tommo will be calling his final race after a 60 year career. He first commentated on a point to point race aged 15 and became well known during his 28 year career with Channel 4 Racing. There are two races named in his honour this evening, including the final race on the card at 9pm, the 'Thanks for everything Tommo - Happy Retirement Handicap' which will be is final ever commentary.

Racing this week starts with three meetings on the flat at Ayr, Windsor and Beverley. There is a jumps card at Cartmel and in Ireland they have a flat fixture at Ballinrobe. The stable does not have any runners. We had some welcome rain over the weekend and lots of places around the country had some as well. We had 12mm over the weekend but Cartmel had 21mm yesterday and their going for today's meeting is soft, good to soft in places. They have lots of runners in all their races and it looks a competitive card. Beverley have had nearly 30mm of rain in the last few days and their going description today is heavy which will be a change for many of the flat horses as we have not had ground this testing for quite a while.

The jumping action in Britain today comes from Stratford and Newton Abbot, with the flat card coming from Redcar with their Go Racing in Yorkshire summer festival. Over in Ireland, the action continues on the flat at the Curragh. No runners for the stable today.

We are back with a busy Saturday for the racing front, with jumps cards coming from Market Rasen and Cartmel this afternoon. The flat is busy today with meetings at Newbury and Ripon this afternoon, with the evening action concluding at Newmarket, Doncaster and Haydock. In Ireland, its flat action only which comes from the Curragh. No runners for the stable today.

It is the end of another week, there is another day off for the jumping in Britain with no meeting scheduled. The flat cards come from Newbury, Haydock, and Nottingham with evening action at Hamilton, Newmarket and Pontefract. In Ireland, they are racing over both codes with jumping at Killarney and the flat card comes from Down Royal. No runners for the stable today.

Hammer Dan runs today
The racing action today comes from Worcester with a jumps card this evening and that is the sole jumping action for Britain. The flat cards come from Hamilton, Leicester, Chepstow and Epsom. Over in Ireland, they are racing over both codes with jumping at Killarney and flat action at Leopardstown.
