There are four meetings today, two flat cards at Catterick and Newcastle plus two jumps cards at Bangor and Chepstow.  David has three runners at Chepstow this afternoon, Citrus, Sweettoothtommy and Thunder Pass.  All three are ridden by Tom Scu.  Citrus runs in the 1.30pm maiden hurdle over 2m3f.  He was placed in four French Bumpers and was disappointing first time out at Worcester for the yard but he must be better than that.  He has been given a little break and hopefully we should see a different horse this afternoon.  The Racing Post have him at 7/1.  Sweettoothtommy runs in division 2 of the maiden hurdle at 4.05pm.  He has ran well in four Irish point to points and although he disappointed on his only run for the yard last season he should like the good ground that is forecast.  He is 12/1 in the Post.  Thunder Pass runs in the handicap hurdle at 4.35pm.  He was rated 85 on the flat but has been a bit disappointing over hurdles so far.  This is his first run in a handicap and they have him at 7/2 second favourite in the paper.

Today there are just three meetings, flat cards at Leicester and Redcar plus a jumps card at Ayr.  Tom Scu goes to Ayr for two rides, a 50/1 and 14/1 chance in the Post.  Dan Skelton has the favourite in the first two races and they look good things, Spiritofthegames and Ckalco Des Loges.  Yesterday at Aintree What a Moment finished second on his chasing debut and he was only beaten half a length.  They were 15 lengths clear of the third.  It was a nice run and he will probably go up a few pounds but it was a good start to his chasing career.

There are just two jumps cards today at Aintree and Wincanton.  David sends two runners to Aintree.  Perspicace runs in the 2.10 conditional jockey's handicap hurdle and David Noonan takes three pounds off.  It looks a competitive 14 runner race.  What a Moment makes his chasing debut in the 4.25 novice limited handicap chase.  He was second last time out over hurdles at Perth and Tom Scu rides.  He is an Irish point to point winner who should appreciate the larger obstacles.  Tom Scu rides.

Today there are four meetings, flat cards at Doncaster, Newbury and Wolverhampton plus a great jumps card at Cheltenham.  David has two runners at Cheltenham, Gary Charm runs in the 5.05pm race, a 3m1f Amateur riders handicap chase.  He is a 12/1 chance in the Racing Post and is ridden by Rex Dingle who takes a handy seven pounds off our top weight.  Our eight year old grey is having his first run for Pond House and it will be interesting to see how he get's on.  His recent form as not been so good but he has won 10 of 30 races in France.  Purple N Gold runs in the 5.40pm Conditonal jockey's handicap hurdle ridden by David Noonan.  He is a big price, 25/1 and he has had a busy summer but on his best form he does look to have a small each way chance.

It was a good afternoon for the stable yesterday with David enjoying a winner at Worcester yesterday when Herbert Park (pictured above) prevailed in a tight finish to the 2m7f handicap hurdle.  Tom Scudamore was seen at his very strongest in the saddle as our charge fended off Western Cape by a neck.  With ten lengths back to the third, let's hope that the assessor does not over-react!  Well done to Worcester who put up some excellent prize money for there last meeting of the season.  David says our winner could have one more run over timber before going novice chasing and he rates an exciting prospect.

There are four meetings taking place this afternoon with flat cards from Newmarket and Kempton as well as jumps cards from Worcester and Fontwell.  David has one runner this afternoon as Herbert Park (pictured above) participates in the 4.05pm race at Worcester, a 2m7f handicap hurdle.  It is a decent race with £10,000 in prize money up for grabs.  The jury is out on Herbert Park - after a very promising novices' campaign in 2015 he was disappointing last season.  If he can recapture his best there is no doubt that he can go very well under Tom Scudamore.
